Okay i thought i had written down my fnaf review (well not written down more like compiled my incoherent screaming about it from discord) but i guess i didnt? which defeats the purpose of this now. but i will try my best. THE FNAF MOVIE WAS AWESOME AND DONT LET ANYONE ELSE CONVINCE YOU OTHERWISE. I feel like if you arent a huge fnaf fan you just Wouldnt Get It. i think if youre going in as a non fnaf fan then maybe you would think its fine pretty mid with al the weird and unexplained lot points but as a huge fnaf fan from day one that just a part of the magic baby!! this movie is awesome and all the little easter eggs were just so good. i went in blind (save for watching the ending because of that fight that happened opening night) and the only thng i knew was that THE LIVING TOMBSTONE MADE IT IN!!!! its best to have watched this movie in a theatre full of other fnaf fans. I even dressed up! i think i was the only person in my theatre to do so however... i love fnaf and im very excited for the next movie. i thought that plot f the movie was pretty good and was paced well but im not like a huge movie snob i just love fnaf. in fact i ended up watching it about 11 more times because i learned my mother bought peacock. i loved the fnaf movie it was worth the wait and i hope the next one is even better.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off

Everybody who hates spto is boring The guy who wrote it literally said its a twist in Scott pilgrim it wasnt going to be a one to one recreation no matter how much we all wanted it I think it was fun and really cool to see the closure for (most) of the exes and see Stephen and knives become besties The fight scenes were cool and yeah the twist villain at the end is like. Whatever. But shut up! I dont care To the person who said it was supposed to be a girl boss angle youre fucking stupid where the hell did you get that from youre wrong Its literally just a fun au like what if Scott lost. That’s it. Its just a fun little time travel adventure we get alternate futures. And come on man old (and older) Scott are literally the same as normal timeline Scott. You guys are pussies. Go read a fucking book. Scott doesnt get character development? Oh yeah maybe because he gets planted 15 years into the future jackass. I thought it was fine that Scott wasnt in the show. Like I said all the exes and even Ramona get more screen time. And to say its at the cost of Scotts character development. My brother in Christ the books are still there. This isnt about original timeline Scott. Whatever. This is my United States of whatever. Also nothing was more funnier than everyone going to Scotts funeral and his casket was just like a dollar in Canadian change The theme song grew on me at first I wasnt too sure but in the end I started to really like it a lot ive seen so many people be like why does ramona care so much about scott ahe went on one date with him. HE WAS POOFED OUT OF EXISTENCE BY HER EX BOYFRIEND?????? or what she thought. also quirked up white boys with a little bit of swag can do that to you also i saw someone like. Scotts apology to knives was unearned. GOD YOU WANT HIM TO CONTINUE DATING THE HIGHSCHOOLER. THE BLUNT BREAK UP WAS FINE. EVEN IF WE DIDNT SEE HIS GOING TO THE FUTURE PART LIKE. HE STILL HAD TO BREAK UP WITH HER. ITS A CANON EVENT I FEAR I was planning on rereading the comic so I can compare but theres really no point I already know what happens. Anyways Scott pilgrim takes off was great and perfectly captures the essence of Scott pilgrim even if he is not in the frame! The idea that the main character has to be there in order to give characters other development is wrong and thats why you all hate Steven universe future. I saw someone say that it completely negates the ending of the comic when it doesnt. It reinforces it. Super Ramona and Scott agree to fix every thing together and change their future.

16 Bit Sensation: Another Layer

I prepared for this buy reading the orignal 16 bit sensation. just volume one though, i couldnt find volume two translated.

Finished volume one of 16bit sensation and started the anime and. Man. I forgot that I actually havent watched any modern anime since. The Tokyo mew mew reboot but this is grating to hear and look at. Anyways I like it so far it seems like the main girl konoha is going to teach mamoru why bishoujo games are worthwhile. This series… makes me wanna make things… my heart is a flutter… It’s still relatively the same its just now a girl has been isekied into 1992 and gets to experience 90s game making rather than reliving it like uehara is in the manga. Hopefully we still get long winded game making explanations Finished episode two of 16 bit sensation anime. Its fine. Theres a typo in the subtitles. But Im intrigued by the ending! She ends up traveling back to 2023 so I hope she starts charging her phone and iPad to wow the 1992 people. The mysterious new girl still hasnt showed up so Im theorizing that its her mother lol. I liked watching her learn how to colour on the computer! Makes me want to do it to Watched the new 16 bit sensation episode three! She made it back but ended up in 1996?!?!?!?!?!?!? Anyways another silly plot device happened so that she couldnt show the guys her iPad technologies (she fell into a pool) and I really like how her disappearance for 4 years their time really affected mamoru? Omg theyre friends thats so cute. Also theyre the same age now. I guess. She helps the mysterious girl that looks like her buy some cool new releases and learns more about why mamoru is leaving the company (pc 98 die hard also im theorizing its because they made the game together on pc 98). The company transitioned to windows but mamoru doesn’t want to so he quit. I like it silly episode my baby boy is all grown up (in the manga he was in middle school and now hes a big boy 🥹🥹🥹🥹) forgot to mention that mamoru warns her of changing the future by being annoying Watched 16 bit sensation 4! Its really heartwarming to see the friendship develop between mamoru and konoha! His attachment to the pc98 is so cute and basically what any kid during the technological boom was like heck Im a diehard windows user I wouldnt switch to any other operating system no matter how jank it gets! And toyas relationship with konoha too is really good! I really hope it leads to finding each other in the future. I would like to say shes the old lady but Toya seems too young to become that old in the future lol. Did not like how they redid the intro to that one game with smooth line art like that. Finished episode 5 of 16 bit sensation! Konaha finally cracked thr code to time travel! She just has to open a bunch of old games to be transported to that release day! The best friends have returned after 3 years! Mamoru is now older than her at 22 that must be so fucked up. This episode shows the modern building that konoha works in now so Im guessing at some point in her original timeline alcohol soft becomes blue bell or is sold to them. Konoha realizes that each time she goes back in time her games disappear everytime she comes back proving that shes messing with the timeline even just by being a bit cringe. My guess is that she and mamoru are going to be changing time more. Precisely as the episode ends on them going after the guy in charge of their console port. Perhaps alcohol soft will live to see 2023… also a new green hair girl is seen. Also I thought it was so bittersweet that mamoru dad (the director I forgot his name) wants to be more useful… he’s an old man trying his best for the company… Finished episode 6 of 16 bit sensation and Ive never felt more depressed in my life… mamorus dad (who I still cant remember the name of) got scammed by the guy putting their game on console. Scammed out of 1 billion yen out of the companies wallet. And get this. The console guy got arrested for fraud! Konoha and Toya meet again she is now working at a company! Konoha really changed her life giving her confidence! But because konoha was doing a stakeout mission… she blew her off… now whats going to happen to her… konoha also has a dark side to her… she makes a comment about how all men are the same and then back back she was just another otaku but now shes treated like a princess… my girl… the validation isnt worth it… anyways back to the company shutting down… it sucks! I feel so bad! He started talking about the dot com explosion in America and I felt sick to my stomach… konoha speak up! It’s a scam! So this is why I think alcohol soft doesnt exist in the original timeline. It went under because of the scam that happened. All konoha wanted to do was make games but now shes stuck dealing with the fall of a company. Also I thought it was really funny that the scenario writer whos name I forgot is sad because he cant write sex scenes anymore. In the original manga he gets mad that he cant so he creates a splinter company where he write like sex dungeon stuff. Anyways to combine the two stories together is great. Meiko in the original manga was reliving her days in the original eroge/bishoujo boom days. So everything in the manga and the original timeline for the anime are there but now we have konoha messing with it. Anyways i never found the second volume online sad sad I know. But im invested! The after credit scene rolls. And here it is ladies and gentlemen. The moment weve all been waiting for. Konoha and Mamoru make a game! They dont care of it changes the future! Mamoru wants everyones dreams to come true! So he takes on the role of programmer for whatever game Konoha wants to make. This is all Ive wanted. Konoha baby girl we are making this shit happen. Finished episode 7 of 16 bit sensation. Im doing catch up as Im writing this now the anime has officially ended! Where we last left off konoha and mamoru decide to make a game that will bring one billion yen to the company and pitch the idea to alcohol soft! There were some murmurings but they all decide to work for it! Konoha finally is able to show the rest of the team her artwork from 2023 which is the push they need! Here are where my issues lie. I think konoha really needs to understand that it is 1999 I know it’s just a silly time travel show but man. Try to work within your means 😭😭 but mamoru saves the day by constructing several pc towers that will give them the right amount of push! Mamorus dad finally gets out of the hospital and also comes back to the company after the guy that scammed them actually seemed to want the console port of their game to come out. Anyways time travel dissonance hilarity ensues. The end of the episode sees mamoru accident time travelling himself! And its a cliff hanger! I like this episode but like I said it irks me that she’s so ambition specifically for this era of games. ALSO IT OPENS WITH THE PMMM OPENING??? IM CRYING WHO THOUGHT OF THAT Finished episode 8 and guess what baby its the 80s!! And we are introduced to komaeda and monaca danganronpa. Mamoru has a little residency at an up and coming game studio called echosoft where the aforementioned danganronpa clones work. After geeking out over his beloved 80s pcs , It becomes increasingly clear to mamoru that theyre not human as they seem to have incredible work ethic and lack the concept of imagination and. Both of them are named echo and so is their dog. Mamoru learns from echo komaeda that he has no concept of imagination and is trying to study it by making games and we can infer that from echo monaca that she is studying it through cute outfits that she makes mamoru rate. The episode ends with a monologue from echo komaeda after they all learn what is is to be human and how much he appreciates the concept of imagination before blasting it mamoru back to 1999. I genuinely thought they were gonna leave his ass there. I thought it was neat and I really hope it gets a little bit more expanded upon. I think also the time travel thing to begin with is because of them. I also really liked the detail that the echos eyes are all dead before discovering what imagination is and their eyes lighting up once they figure it out. Random tangent but I really wish this series kinda made the art style of choice of designing characters in their respective timelines. I wish the 90s cast looked like I dunno some 90s art style and even though the echo team wasnt from the 80s that they also had some sort of 80s style Okay Im writing this before I finish the episode its in its cold open right now and I fear this game is gonna be absolute dog shit. Okay finished episode 9 and it was cute! They do a bunch of marketing a bunch of gaming and monitoring the forums and the game was released December 1999! They made this damn game in four months. I really hope it wasnt dog shit. Meiji and konoha talk about how she was so ashamed of bishoujo games when she first started on account of being PORN but due to konoha genkiness she was able to fully embrace the world of bishoujo games and wishes for the game to be sold over the world. They all talk about the dejiko building which I’m sure is very important to otaku culture I’ll ask my oomfie who is into dejiko to learn more about it. Toya, the girl who I still believe to be konoha mother, makes her return after the company is out celebrating the game! She and konoha talk about their relationship and how much konoha inspired Toya and she asks her to join her game company. Konoha accepts but says that she cant at that moment on account of Yknow the time travel. The two part ways and konoha catches up with mamoru who was just leaving a game store after finding the only copy of echosofts existence. Does he buy the game? I hope he did but also like… he made it too… anyways. The two besties forever talk about games and the time travel and how hes such a tsundere for her shut uo thats your bestie and you know it. But as suddenly she appears konoha vanishes leaving only the left over food she kept for mamoru at the dinner party. Shes time traveled back to 2023 and…! AKIHABARA HAS CHANGED. ITS NO LONGER OTSKU CENTRAL ITS LIKE S BUISNESS PARK WITH STYLISH FAMILIES?!?! Konoha makes a desperate attempt to find her way around and notices what I assume is a staple of otaku culture being demolished. She sneaks in and is caught by one of the construction workers and who comes to her rescue… old man mamoru thats who. Okay I didnt mean for this to be so long but I just really enjoy how konoha is just like the ideal protagonist. Lively Mary Sue my daughter is. She just makes everyone better with her two toned hair and unbridled energy. Im so glad everyone loves her and is inspired by her. I wonder how last waltz (the game they made) turns out. Okay im not done with the episode but the game they made became a huge hits and whatever. But suddenly that caused a rift in time where everything is made in america now ????? Ijbol I dont think that could ever happen Im crying people in America would look at it and be like oh those strange Japanese people they wouldnt made mutubilllion dollar industries for BISHOUJO GAMES. Also its very funny how the American bishoujo games all have black cell shading Im crying this is what they do forreal everyone looks so menacing. Okay just finished it and Im staying crying konohas game kicked so much ass she completely fucked over the timeline. It kind of turns into that one movie about the guy who creates the Beatles songs in a world where the Beatles dont exist. Anyways everyone from alcohol soft is in the us and Toya is now the ceo of her own company the last boshoujo game maker in Japan. Mamoru comes to the conclusion that the only way to bring back the original akihabara and preserve this new timeline is for konoha to make a second game under a different company. Oh and where have I seen this thread come in… theres a scene in the middle of the episode that talks about how the last waltz is such an amazing game for the era and its like awwww she finally made it and now she has to make a game just as good as if she didnt just spend 4 months making a game. Perhaps this is a social commentary about how the japan3se workforce is being overworked lol. ALOS MAMORUS OBSESSION WITH THE PC98 I HATE HIM!!!!!! MY SON HAS COLLECTED EVERY SINGLE PC98 THAT REMAINED IN HIS TIMELINE Literally in the cold open what do you MEAN AI WHAT THE HELL. My autistic son he is self soothing with pc98 noises. Okay finished episode 11 and things are going rough for the game development. Konoha is having trouble coming up with a good idea for a game that would rival the last waltz. She decides to take a walk around town when she gets a call from Toya who she apparently gave her number all the way back in that episode where they table at comiket. They decide to meet up when suddenly konoha is kidnapped! Mamoru hapoened to be coming back from his job and was getting coffee to suprise her he turns away and sees the car that kidnapped her. We cut to hot shot ceo Toya who had I previously thought absorbed a company but her company is being absorbed. Its revealed that the head of the company had used AI TO REPLICATE HER VOICE IN THE PHONE CALL TO KIDNAP KONOHA. See this is why ai is bad kids. Look at what happened they did a deepfake. Anyways since she is the original person who made the last waltz they need her brain power to keep making games in which Toya is horrified because theyre going to experiment on her I guess? Konoha then wakes up in a weird room in a weird building which I think is that stadium they all keep talking about and then she walks out and finds hundreds of people in like the water chambers. I think that whoever is behind this is those echo aliens from the mamoru time travel episode. I mean they also had like containers of water like substances in which echo komaeda dunked game cartridges in in order to find ones that had imagination energy. Also the fact that Mr Glenn the guy who absorbed toyas company is alluding to a ceo who just wont see Toya. Meanwhile mamoru connects the dots that konoha has been kidnapped and uses his five thousand pc98s to help track her down Im fucking crying. Anyways Im scared also theres a scene where konoha is reminiscing about her first time in akihabara when she was ten years old. Konoha. Is 19 in 2023. Im 21 in 2023. Shes in akihabara in 2016 as shown by the first season poster of love live SUMSHINE. I WAS 14 WHEN LLSS CAME OUT. WHY IS SHE TEN. AM I OLD. IS THIS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE OLD. WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE WANST IN MIDDLE SCHOOL YET. I FEEL SICK. Okay in the cold open of the episode and I was right it was the akihabara stadium! Im so smart! Finished episode 12 and I was RIGHT THE ALIENS COME BACK AT THE END. Okay for this episode Toya and konoha confront each other after Mr Glenn gives a lengthy explanation as to why people are in tubes. Ai got so good that it was making all the games but there was no human passion in it. So they put all these talented game makers in the tubes in order to harness their brain power to make games 24/7 365 days a year. Cybernetic intelligence. Toya pleads with konoha to get in because she sacrificed what she could. She looked up to konoha for all these years but could never be as amazing as her. Konoha says that shes just an ordinary person who loves the games she grew up with. Mamoru saves the day and the two start running around the compound. Toya mak3s her way up to Mr Glenns office where she volunteers to take konohas place but is dismissed because shes not special or whatever. And then the aliens show up after the two are cornered in the elevator. This episode was action packed and honestly the two girls meeting made me tear up a bit. Im kinda sad that the last two episodes arent about konoha travelling back in time to make a game with Toya as was implied by mamoru and konoha realizing that the only game left in her back back was a game also from 1999. But I guess the danganronpa beta designs get to come back I guess. Alright. End of 16 bit sensation. Echo komaeda and echo monaca and their dog come back! What is it that theyre after? Who are they? Turns out echo komaeda is just a huge fan of konoha in the future! He asks her to sign his copy of the game that they were making to fix her timeline! He says that he had to do a long trip to make it happen which probably means that he was the one who set everything up in the first place. He shows konoha what kind of game she makes. One full of human touches and imagination. And then they leave. Konoha and mamoru wake up and make their way back to the bottom floor where they are greeted by Toya who apologizes and give konoha her normal clothes. The original alcoholsoft team flies in on a helicopter saying that mamoru called them in to help them with the game in which konoha collapses into the warm embrace of meiko who comforts her. Konoha asks Toya to join her in which she declines saying she has some business to finish. They fly off to the warehouse house to complete the game in which kikilala and the marketing lady both come back. Its interesting because everyone else has updated old people designs but not the marketing lady? You couldnt give her wrinkles? Grey hair? Nothing? Okay. They finish the game data and all in like one night????? I dont know maybe a few days and then they part ways. Konoha and mamoru take one last walk around akiba and reminisce about their adventures together. Konoha gets nervous and asks mamoru if they will forget each other once she fixes the timeline and hes like welll I guess we ll see and she goes back in time. We see an opening cutscene of the game in which the main character is like this is based on a true story (but all cute and shit). Konoha wakes up again and everything is back to normal (except slightly more high tech dejiko is like a hologram in the sky now) she rushes over to the alcohol soft building and finds a fucking pc 98 waiting for her. She runs inside to find mamoru standing and looking so cool and epic and he turns around and is like lets make a game together. The end happy ending for everyone. I really like this! The sci-fi elements are. Odd. But I guess its kind of sweet to have the message that ai cant replicate the human imagination and that its the only thing that cant be taken by us. But I still think that the sci fi bits are unnecessary… but I guess its like… bishoujo games get so popular that aliens also get them? I dunno sci-fi sucks take that shit out! I think its also really sweet how konoha just. Really wants to make good games, thats all she wants to do is make good games the games she loved as a child! She was able to inspire and help so many people through her infectious human energy. All we need is just a lot of energy and passion and hard work… THERES also… a slight romantic undertone with konoha and mamoru that gets shown towards the end and I think its kinda cute…? I’m marinating on it but its cute its cute I cant stand it theyre best friends perhaps to lovers? Who knows maybe they can finally grow old together. I did not like the opening or the ending 😭😭 theyre so mid bordering on not enjoyable to me… Anyways I give this a solid 7.5 or maybe an 8!
